Bicycle fork

This design aimed at a very lightweight and stiff fork to be used in high-performance racing bikes. For this purpose we designed the fork blades as well as the steerer tube as a continuous carbon fibre. The fork has been a worldwide novelty. In a second phase we developed the most lightweight series cycle fork of the world.

Bicycle crank

The customer desired an extremely lightweight but stiff bicycle crank. The design of the power transmission points at the spindle connections and the pedal attachments were especially difficult to realize. Design and construction are patented. Since its development in 1994, it is until today the most lightweight series crank for cycles of the world. The crank has been awarded design prizes several times.

Bicycle frame

In cooperation with the customer, a design office in Cologne, and the Technical University of Hamburg Harburg a pioneering design of a full suspension mountain bike was developed. A unique appearance, a four-bar linkage system with parallelogram technology, an extremely low frame weight and a stiffness above average were to be achieved in a series mountain bike. All frame components are made of carbon fibres. The use of internal reinforcement ribs for increasing strength and stiffness is absolutely unprecedented for a carbon cycle frame. The frame has been awarded the red point for highest quality of design.
